Kosovo customs has discovered alleged narcotics substance of the cannabis type in a postal delivery, during customs checks.
According to Dogan’s announcement, following the scan of shipments and allegations filed by the customs official, it is decided to undergo detailed physical control.
During the search, 10 cigarettes filled with suspected substances such as cannabis and two pieces of cake with suspected content of the same substance have been found.
In the case, Dogana has announced the relevant Kosovo Police Antidroga Unit for the enterprise of further legal actions.
The shipment and its contents have been banned for further institutional proceedings.
Kosovo customs has indicated that it will continue controls and co-operation with competent institutions for preventing smuggling and illegal flow of goods.
