KAmerican engineer Chris Brown has been sentenced to eight months in prison, but his sentence has been suspended for a year for an incident in May 2023 at a nightclub in May Fair, London.
Brown, 37, was convicted in July of his involvement in a violent clash.
The victim, musical producer Abe Diaw, had needed hospital treatment for head and knee injuries. Security camera footage footage shows Brown hitting Diaw in the head with a glass bottle, reports BBC, broadcast I did. tv
During the verdict’s announcement, Judge Tony Baumgartner said repeated use of the bottle was certainly dangerous.
Referring to the incident, the judge acknowledged that the event had lasted a little longer, but stressed that it had also been ïintensive.
Earlier, defence lawyers had named the incident ugly and unpopular, adding that it had lasted very little.
Meanwhile, Brown’s co-independent and his vocal coach, 40-year-old Omololu Akinlou, has been sentenced to four months in prison, a sentence he has also been suspended for a year.
