A repeat case of domestic violence has been recorded in the village of Busavat in Kamenica, where a 21-year-old woman has reported that her husband has again exercised violence against her, just two days after having denounced her to the police for domestic violence and rowage, the Signal newspaper reports.
According to information from the signal, the victim, A.K. About 21, she had sought police assistance on October 23, 2026, about 22: 00 p.m., reporting violence and alleged threats from her husband, E.M. About 31.
After the indictment, the police had announced the State Attorney and, on his orders, criminal cases for the families had been initiated.
However, just two days later, on October 25, about 09:00, 29-year-old allegedly again committed violence against his wife.
The repeat case has prompted police to contact the prosecution again, which has this time ordered the arrest of the suspect for 48 hours.
The event raises questions about whether after the first indictment the risks for the victim were assessed and enough measures were taken to prevent the repetition of violence.
From information provided does not result in what safeguards, if there were any, were taken after the October 23rd report.
The case is being handled by competent bodies, while investigations will determine the circumstances and eventual criminal responsibility.
