AVokat Musa Damati has commented on the case of Arlinda Zekaj’s murder in Vitomirica, Peja, whose brother-in-law allegedly testifies to a lack of co-ordination between institutions.
On the show Kosovo Today, in Klan Kosova, Damati spoke of the way to address urgent demands by justice institutions.
We must have judicial filters, we must have filters on the institutional aspect of decision making. Who are these leaders, heads of institutions? How is it possible Thursday to submit an urgent request to the State Prosecutor and reach the competent court on Monday? We are dealing with a total red tape between institutions, with a lack of professional inter-institution synchronization. Imagine, we were attacked by an enemy on Friday or Saturday and caught unprepared by Monday, the lawyer said in Klan Kosova.
