According to the presidency’s announcement, the security situation in Kosovo and the region was discussed at the meeting, NATO’s role in maintaining peace and stability, as well as further co-operation.
President Shiroka Pula expressed Kosovo’s gratitude for NATO and KFOR’s contribution to ensuring security and stability in the country. She stressed that KFOR’s presence remains important for the security of all citizens and for preserving stability in Kosovo, it is said in agreement.
The president reiterated Kosovo’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with NATO and advancing co-operation with allies, underlining that NATO membership remains one of the strategic goals of the Republic of Kosovo.
In this context, President Shiroka Pula stressed that Kosovo remains committed to peace, regional stability and close co-operation with the United States, NATO and international partners.
