Initiatives to Build Albanian Women’s Network under way in Denmark

In Denmark, the first meeting of Albanian women is held under the initiative to establish the Albanian Women’s Network, a platform intended to promote co-operation, exchange of experiences and strengthen the role of women in the diaspora.

The meeting was organised by the Council of the Republic of Kosovo and the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Denmark, while North Macedonia’s Ambassador Fadil Zendeli was present.

The event was held at the Tirana restaurant in Copenhagen, co-owners of Irda Rucaj and Ganimet Berisha, whose enterprise was set as an example of the contribution of Albanian women to the development of businesses and economic life in Denmark.

During the meeting, participants exchanged ideas and experiences, as well as discussed opportunities to increase the role of Albanian women in social, economic and public life.

The initiative to establish the network aims to build a common space for co-operation, solidarity and mutual support, strengthening ties between Albanian women living and operating in Denmark./Telegraphy/
