MPB Macedonia reports that the parday (28.10.26) between 0900 and 2: 00 p.m. on the territory of the entire country, the Communications Affairs Sector near the Ministry of Internal Affairs has carried out a controlling action of transport vehicles.
As stated by the MPB, the search was aimed at detecting and sanctioning irregularities related to the overload of vehicles, the inaccurate location and cargo security, the technical state of vehicles, the transport of persons, and the vehicles that are locked in traffic from unsanctified roads, construction plants and similar surfaces, which carry mud on the streets.
A total of 781 vehicles have been checked during the exercise, out of which 92 have been sent for technical control. The 101 irregularities have been found, while due to registered irregularities, 25 vehicles have been eliminated from circulation. Under the control there are three additional cases of criminal activity that are carelessly directed by the vehicle, in accordance with Article 297 of the Penal Code.
Also, 219 counters to another kind have been found. Controversial measures are being taken in line with legal provisions, the MPB says.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs will continue with the realisation of controlling road shares and appeal to drivers and transporters to respect legal regulations, ensure technical regulation of vehicles, as well as proper deployment and delivery.
