The AAK’s bear calls it a mean conference of Gervala and Svechala, demanding their resignation.

Alliance representative Avni Arifi has demanded the resignation of Justice Minister Donika Gervalla-Schwarz and Interior Affairs Minister Jelal Svecla, making him political responsible for the tragic case that has shocked Kosovo citizens.

Arifi has sharply criticised the conference held by the two ministers, calling it an unacceptable presentation in relation to citizens and the circumstances of the case.

In our assessment, this is a conference, said the least, very mean of two Kosovo state public officials, in relation to the citizens of Kosovo, in a report that has shocked every citizen of Kosovo. Both the minister and the minister confirmed and talked about what Kosovo citizens had learned from the media, Arifi said.

He has said that the presentation of ministers, according to the Alliance’s assessment, has witnessed the lack of institutional responsibility, while criticising what he has described as their arrogance and cynicism.

They testified that for failing at many levels of the system they run and for which they are responsible, but their arrogance, their cynicism was worth it. So we as the Alliance have no other conclusion that there is a clear political responsibility and that political responsibility must be addressed by the Government, he added.

Arifi has demanded that both ministers resign, stressing that responsibility, according to him, should not remain only on the moral level.

Minister Gervalla-Schwarz should be addressed, and Minister Svechla should resign. Not only moral resignations, because it had to happen at the moment, but resignations, because they have been incompetent in performing their key functions, functions that have cost life to a citizen of the Republic of Kosovo, he has declared.

He has announced that the Alliance supports the protest of women held in Pristina, saying its main requirement is the resignation of two ministers.

We as the Alliance support the protest of women taking place today in Pristina for a clear request: the resignation of two ministers. And at the same time, we call on all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo to help women in these protests, whether in participation or in different forms, because justice must happen, he has said.

Arifi has reiterated that continuing the work of the two ministers, according to him, does not comply with the requirement for political responsibility, demanding that they resign or be fired.

There is no justice in the event it is continued with this arrogance, with this cynicism, with this disgusting behavior, Minister Gervalla and Minister Svechla continue their work. These ministers should resign, or be fired, Arifi said.
