Bajrami: Kurt is violating the legal deadline for adoption of the 2027 budget

Democratic League of Kosovo MP ( The LDK), Hykmete Bajrami, has criticised Prime Minister Albin Kurti, after the 2027 Budget Bill has not yet been adopted in Government, though today is the last day of legal deadline for his surrender to the Assembly.

Through a Facebook post, Bajrami has recalled that under the Public Finance Management Law and Responsibilities, the government must hand over the draft Budget Bill no later than October 31st.

She has said Kurti, during the meeting of the Council General of the Vetevendosje Movement, has warned that the budget will be approved on Monday, November 2nd.

Bajrami has compared to last year, when, according to her, Kurti had boasted that the budget was approved within the legal deadline.

The LDK MP has claimed that this year the budget process has been first passed through the LVV party structures before being examined in state institutions.

The Republika budget will first filter out the LVV General Council, then be approved in Government, and after every legal term, it will be submitted to the Parliament, it wrote.

It has also criticised the way, according to her, legal deadlines are being addressed, stressing that the budget is state and citizens, not party.

Bajrami has also cited over a billion euros in capital investments warned, saying their results should be assessed through concrete projects and not only through the figures presented.

No one on the Law! The supervisor, she’s done.

The signal where the truth speaks before the news!
