Kosovo President Justina Shiroka Pula, accompanied by Prime Minister Albin Kurti, has been paying tribute to the Witnesses’ cemeterys in Velan, on the occasion of 37th anniversary of the fall of martyrs Africa Dzitia and Fahri Fazliu.
During the holidays, President Shiroka Pula honoured the life and work of the two natives, praising their sacrifice on Kosovo’s road to freedom.
She pointed out that the sacrifice of Africa Gitias and Fahri Fazliu remains an integral part of the history of freedom efforts and that their names will always be remembered.
They did not await the day of freedom, but they gave their life for that day to come. Their names remain forever linked to this freedom and with our responsibility to do Kosovo as they please and for which they were sacrificed, President Shiroka Pula has declared.
The houses were held in honour of the work and sacrifice of two martyrs, on the 37th anniversary of their fall.
