Prelevic: Vucinqi won only in Serbian prisons, Kosovo

The lawyer from Belgrade and former Police Minister in Serbia’s transitional government, Bozo Prelevic, has declared that the regime of President Aleksandar Vuciq has managed to win only in Serbian prisons and in Kosovo, following the 25 October parliamentary elections, where the Student List was released.

In an interview for the Montenegrin newspaper ébjeda), Prelevic has said the election results show the loss of support for Vuciqi’s power in most of Serbia.

The citizens best tell how they feel about them. This is evidence of their loss in Babusnica, Prelevic said of the Pobjeda.

Asked about the results in this municipality, where Vuciqi had previously received 82.9 per cent of the vote, Prelevic has responded with a direct statement of support that, according to him, has remained with the Serbian president.

Well, they’re lost there. They have won only in prisons and in Kosovo, he has declared.

Prelevic has also talked about developments during election night, claiming Vuciqi had prepared scenarios to contest the victory of the Student List.

According to him, the presence of police, armoured vehicles and organised groups in Belgrade was part of preparations to pressure and intimidate citizens.
