The Alliance has asked Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Minister Glauk Konjufca to clarify whether the decision was abolished 113/2024, which prevented the employment of close family members of officials and diplomats in the ministry.
In a public response, the Alliance has accused the power of nepotism in diplomatic appointments, claiming that Kosovo embassies and consulates have arranged persons with family or political links to the figures of the Vetevendosje Movement, writes Insander.
According to the Alliance, the decision in question was signed on April 23rd 2024 by former Minister Donika Grovalla, while recent diplomatic appointments bear the signature of Glauk Konjufca.
Among the cases he has mentioned, the Alliance has included the appointment of Rina Dragidela to Washington, which he claims is the niece of Minister Jhelal Svecla, Kaltrine Dalipi in Berlin, which links her familiarally with the former head of the prime minister’s cabinet, Luan Dalipi, as well as Vera Rexhepi Lecin in Iowa, which he says is the wife of an intimate business associate of Dali.

The ruling party has ruled with diplomats’ employment, and all of these are resulting relatives and family members with Vetevendosje figures.
On April 23, 2024, his predecessor, Donika Gervalla, signed the No. 113/2024 for the strict ban on employing close family officials and diplomats in the MPJD. They even said they were taking diplomacy out of the ébagians and the brother-in-laws.
But the letters provided and published by the media present a clear reality. All recent decisions bear the signature of Glauk Konjufca, in the quality of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Minister.
This is how diplomatic service has become names and pure power links:
• Rina Dragidella (Washington, U.S.A.): The niece of Minister of Internal Affairs Jelal Svechla (and Magbule Hysen’s daughter, who was also arranged at the Agency for Agriculture Development). She was appointed Secretary Two without meeting any basic regulatory criteria of one year working experience in MPJD at the time of the competition.
• Kaltrine Dalipi (Berlin, Germany): The daughter of Luan Dalip’s uncle, former head of Albin Kurti’s cabinet. The second secretary was sent without diplomatic degrees gained through procedures and without passing on to the Grada Commission (while her sister, Flaka Dalipi, was employed inside the MPJD).
• Vera Rexhepi Leci (Iowa, U.S.A.): Burim Leci’s wife, who is a close business associate of Luan Dalip’s company MDA. He was named Direct Consule with functional degrees without any preliminary diplomatic degrees.
• Joys Lipovec (Haga, Netherlands): Private Movement MP Crenare Cerkini’s aunt. He was appointed to Konjufca’s decision on May 2026, directly with the top diplomatic councilary degree.
• Ayvazi (Copenhaga, Denmark): Former member of the Guxo List Headship in Mitrovica, who in the foreign service competition had scored the lowest among the accepted candidates, who is now settled as Secretary Two.
The alliance has these questions for the government and foreign minister:
1. Mr. Konjufca, has the decision officially been abolished 113/2024 prohibiting family employment? If so, when and why? Has Vetevendosje changed principles, or is the law that you have made against you?
2. How is it that Kosovo’s diplomacy at world leaders like Washington, Berlin and The Hague is turning into family comfort for people associated with power, violating any promises you have made in opposition?
3. Is it still the principle that thefis is only for the wedding, or now that you are in power, are you organizing weddings directly by decree and rank within the embassies of the Republic of Kosovo?
Changing principles, violating the existing law is the greatest betrayal that can be done to young professionals and career diplomats.
