Interior Minister Jedal Svecla has indicated that 37kg of heroin, divided into 62 packages, worth over 500 thousand euros, were seized during the operation.
Svecla has announced that five people have been arrested under suspicion of involvement in organised criminal groups, as well as for purchase, possession, distribution and unauthorised narcotics sales.
He has named the operation a crackdown on criminal networks involved in international drug trafficking.
