Jude Bellingham has entered the history of the Champions League, becoming the youngest football player to reach the quota of 60 presentations in this competition.
Real Madrid’s midfielder reached this record at the age of 23 and 128 days, during the confrontation against AEK Athens in Greece.
So far, the record was held by Real Madrid legend Iker Casillas, who had recorded his 60th appearance at the age of 23 and 167 days.
Thus, Bellingham exceeded the former Madrill porter for 39 days, setting another record in the most prestigious European competition for clubs.
The English had previously achieved another similar success, when in November last year he became the youngest football player to record 50 presentations in the Champions League.
Bellingham debuted in this competition with Borussia Dortmund in October 2020, when he was only 17 years old.
In the 60 matches held so far, 23 with Dortmund and 37 with Real Madrid, he has scored 16 goals and donated 14 assets.
With this achievement, the English midfielder continues to write history on European football, leaving behind the great names of this competition.
