Edder Militao has issued a disturbing statement about his physical condition, following his return to the field with Real Madrid.
Brazilian defender admitted that he is experiencing intense pain despite being able to finish the fight against him AEK Athens in the Champions League.
Militao played for 90 minutes in the 3:2 victory of the Madrillians in Greece, registering an important moment in his return after six months of absence due to injury.
The last time the Brazilian had played a full match was on April 15th, against Bayern Munichu.
I feel good, but I’m suffering from severe pain. I’m glad I’m back and I can do what I want most after six months outside the field. I’m also happy to be able to play 90 minutes, Militao declared for club television, escorts the newspaper Express.
Coach Jose Mourinho admitted that he had taken a small risk by activating the Brazilian from the first minute, after such a long period outside the field. However, he expressed satisfaction with the appearance of the defender, who gradually found the rhythm of the match.
Millitao also spoke of his fellow nation, Winnicius Junior, who is going through a bad time in front of the opposing gate.
He’s always optimistic. Things aren’t going as you want right now, but you don’t stop working. Everyone sees that he continues to try, although unfortunately the goals are not coming, the Brazilian said.
