Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Kreshnik Ahmeti received Hungary’s Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, Andrés Klein, at the meeting.
During the meeting, bilateral relations between the Republic of Kosovo and Hungary were discussed, with emphasis on opportunities for their development and further development and strengthening of co-operation in areas of common interest.
An important part of the discussion was dedicated to current developments in the Western Balkans, the security situation and challenges affecting regional stability.
Also, during the meeting, the integration processes of the Republic of Kosovo were discussed in European structures, with emphasis on granting candidate status to the European Union and completing the membership process in the Council of Europe.
