Customs reveals 20 undeclared heaters in Vmica, worth about 1,200 euros

Kosovo Customs officials have discovered 20 undeclared heating pieces during the control of a Albanian license vehicle at the border checkpoint in Vermica.

According to Dogan’s announcement, the vehicle was selected for control based on risk analysis. During the interview, the traveler had not declared goods for reporting to the customs authorities.

Due to doubts, the vehicle has been sent to the second line of control, where 20 heaters, worth approximately 1,200 euros, without including customs duties, have been discovered during the detailed verification.

The goods have been banned, while the case will be handled in line with administrative procedures and legislation in force.

Kosovo customs has indicated that it will continue its commitment to prevent smuggling and illegal trade, as well as to protect the country’s economic interests and ensure fair competition.
