Partnership with France is bringing concrete results and opening new opportunities for co-operation. That is what Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said about the meeting he had today in St. Stefan with Europe’s Delegation Minister Benjamin Haddad, within the Berlin Process Summit, coming on the eve of his visit to Paris for the Peace Forum in November.
After signing five agreements and instruments during his visit to Kosovo, we are now working on implementing them, aimed at advancing co-operation in justice, education and sports. Ratification this month by the 60m-euro loan framework for the infrastructure of the 2030 Mediterranean Games is a concrete result of this partnership, Kurti has written.
He has further said that during this meeting they have also discussed political dynamics in the Western Balkans region, stressing that peace and security are closely related to democracy, rule of law and European integration.
France’s support remains important for Kosovo’s advancement towards membership in the Council of Europe and the European Union, Kurti has added.
