The Kosovo Assembly has adopted in second reading the Law for the Bureau of Calamination and Confiscating Unjustified Wealth.
In favour of this law voted 66 MPs, no one voted against it, while seven MPs abstained.
Before the vote, Democratic League of Kosovo MP ( LDK), Doarsa Kica-Jeli, described the Bureau as a political terminator, criticising the content of the law and lack of differences between two readings.
She said no interventions have been made to make the Bureau right.
Today this bureau is not what will fight great fish. There are two major dangers, it will be used as political blackmail, but will prevent prosecution of those who actually stole, she said.
Criticism against the law included Alliance MP Besnik Tahiri.
He said the law, in its actual form, conflicts with the Constitution and laws in power.
