Defence Minister Ejup Macedonia met today with NATO’s Supreme Allied Forces Commander in Europe ( SACEUR, commander of the European Command of the United States ( U ndo SEUCOM, General Alexus G. Grinkewich.
During the meeting, developments in the field of defence, co-operation with NATO member states, as well as progress in empowering and modernising the Kosovo Security Force were discussed.
Minister Macedonia announced General Grinkewich for investments in the establishment of defence capacities, professional staff advancement, as well as procurement of weapons and equipment systems in line with NATO standards.
In this case, General Grinkewich praised the progress achieved by the KSF, as well as the investments of the Republic of Kosovo to develop the military.
Minister Macedonia expressed gratitude for the continued support of the United States and for KFOR’s contribution to maintaining peace and stability in the country and the region.
