Previous ministers &#82/11; Resignment is unknown act in Kosovo ( VIDEOS)

TThe graces for the resignations and protests of citizens are not making the stance of Justice Minister Donika Grovalla, and Interior Affairs Minister Jelal Svecla.

Both are continuing to stay in their positions, despite calls for departure after Arlinda Zekiaj’s murder, which has prompted numerous reactions and demands for institutional responsibility.

But Kosovo’s political history recognises cases where ministers have resigned or been fired because of developments and responsibilities they have taken on themselves.

One of the cases was that of 2007, when Fatmir Rexhepi resigned from the position of Interior Minister, following the February 10th protest organised by the Vetevendosje Movement.

There was also a resignation at the Ministry of Justice. In 2012, Hajredin Kuci left this position after disagreements over the approval of the Penal Code.

Even in 2015, protests led to a government ministry leaving. At that world, citizens took to the streets following the declaration of Minister for Communities and Kthim, Aleksandar Jablanovic, who had called ‘%sterse a few families of missing Albanian persons.

Over the years, Ferid Agani, Mirjana Yevtiq, Flamur Sefaj, Albena Resiti, Blerim Kuci, Melza Haradinaj, Arben Vitita, Rifat Latifi and Armend Mehaj have also left for various reasons.
