This agreement aims to create grounds for the development of industrial parks according to environmental sustainability standards, while simultaneously promoting economic development and boosting business competitiveness in the country.
Through this co-operation, new investment opportunities are expected to be created, improve industrial infrastructure and promote more efficient use of resources and energy.
Development of the Eco Industrial Parks is considered a step towards modernising the industrial sector in Kosovo, aimed at harmonising economic development with environmental protection and green economy practices.
Co-operation between MINTI and the World Bank is expected to contribute to the creation of more favourable conditions for businesses and to advancing policies for sustainable industrial development in Kosovo.
