Central Agriculture Inspectorate Bill adopted in principle

In the Commission for Environment, Space Planning, Food, Agriculture, Forestry, Rural Development, Infrastructure and Transport has been adopted in principle Bill No. 11L-022 for Central Agriculture, Food Safety, Veterinary and Forestry Inspectorate.

Commission chairman Education Ademi, during the presentation of the bill, said it consists of 14 articles and is aimed at organising and functioning this inspectorate.

This law consists of 14 articles and aims at organising and functioning the Central Agriculture, Food Safety, Veterinary and Forestry Inspectorate. This is based on Law No. 08/L-067 for inspections, which envisions this kind of organization for all ministries, where each ministry, which of the ministries, which of the central inspectors is provided under ministries in this case is the Central Instigation of Agriculture, Food Security, Veterinary and Forestry, which, if we look at the law, is like the executive agency in the ministry’s framework, and that has to do with these areas: agriculture, food safety, agriculture and forestry, Suleyarika said Ademi.

He also indicated that in the Finance Ministry’s opinion on the budgetary impact assessment, the bill envisions additional costs for the state budget.

Also, in terms of the budgetary impact assessment by the Ministry of Finance, this bill will reportedly have additional budget costs in the amount of 69,664 euros, on budgetary divisions adopted with the Law on the Budget, which will be the address for the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural pursue, Ademi stressed.

Commission member from the Vetevendosje Movement Filiz Mustafa showed the importance of this bill.

The innovation of this law is not only the unification of all inspectors, because I have seen that there was an address in public opinion, but the greatest innovation of the bill is that it is regulated by special law and given special law to the executive agency’s statute, that is, the central and local structure of the Inspectorate. We know how necessary, especially for food safety and other security elements that connect to the lives of citizens, is the food safety inspector. So we support this bill as a group and I think that we will have space to contribute even between two readings with other necessary changes, he said. /EO
