Finance Minister Iron Murati has announced today at the Assembly session that the 13th salary for 2026 is prepaid to be paid early next year.
Speaking on this issue, Murati has said the 13th salary was included in the Budget Law for 2026 and that it was paid this year.
He has also talked about citizens’ expectations regarding additions, stressing that, if the budget review is passed, the payment will be made retroactively for the respective working period, Kosova Prees reports.
The 13th Paga was the first in this year’s Budget Law. It was first paid for 2026 at the beginning of the year. The 13th salary is envisioned in the budget and paid this year.
What’s happening is covering the gap from early aloation, just as the Budget Law from this Parliament has seen before. The 13th salary for next year is paid early next year. As for the citizens’ expectations, they will certainly receive extra. If this budget review passes, it will be the retroactive work experience that will be paid, he/kp/
