The Central Labour Inspectorate has temporarily banned work on two construction facilities in Istog and Ferizaj, as irregularities that pose a risk to the life and health of workers have been found during inspections.
According to the Inspectorate’s announcement, the decision to ban the work has been taken due to shortcomings in implementing measures for security and health at work.
Works on these objects will not be allowed to continue until the elimination of all recorded irregularities and the creation of safe working conditions.
The inspector has indicated that he will continue inspections on the ground and will take legal action against subjects who do not respect the requirements for security and health at work.
At the same time, the institution has called on employers to implement legislation in force and to take necessary measures to protect the life and health of workers.
