Former Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has reacted to an anniversary of recognising Kosovo’s independence from Syria, stressing the importance of continuing efforts to ensure new international recognitions.
Through a Facebook post, Osmani has recalled that Syria’s recognition was one of four recognitions Kosovo achieved during the previous year.
She has said that, after a long job, the dynamic of recognitions in favour of Kosovo had been managed and the Allies’ confidence as serious partners won.
Osmani has stressed that efforts to empower Kosovo’s international subjectivity and increase the number of recognitions should not stop.
) Kosovo needs an urgent return to the table where decisions are made, an foreign policy oriented towards concrete results and strengthening strategic partnerships with our allies, it has written.
