Environment Minister Victory Pacolli has recalled that the hunt is prohibited by law in the National Parks of Nemuna and Szharı, at the time the hunting season began.
To prevent illegal hunting, monitoring and control measures will be added in both parks.
In this direction, park guards, drones and trap cameras will be engaged, as well as patrols will be developed on the ground in co-operation with the Kosovo Police and competent organs.
Pacolli has stressed the importance of protecting biodiversity and wildlife, urging citizens to respect the law and take care of nature.
And citizens are invited to report cases of illegal hunting and contribute to the protection of these natural areas.
