After three days of interruption, Termocos returns heat to Pristina

The Public Company ãormokos has announced that the heating supply in Pristina has returned, following the return to operation of the B2 thermal power plant unit HINA Kosova B50.

According to the company’s announcement, the return of the supply has been enabled after creating the conditions for taking steam from this facility, which is used for the production of heating energy.

Since the early hours of today, NP Teams Termokos, mobilised with all operational capacities and in close co-ordination with KEK, have been working to gradually restore the heating supply. Currently, the heating supply has stabilised for most consumers, the announcement says.

The thermocos has made it known that the teams are continuing to work on the ground to secure supply at even the most remote points of the network, where the flow of heat takes more time.

The heating supply was suspended three days earlier, due to the control halt of the B2 thermal power utility Kosovo B50, which had failed to supply steam for heating energy production.

During this period, heating had only clinics at the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo ( BUCH).
