For the fifth consecutive day on the road, citizens seek justice for the murder of Arlinda

The plea for justice for the murder of 49-year-old Arlinda Zekaj will return citizens to the streets of Pristina today.

For the fifth day in a row, protest has been warned to seek justice in the case that shocked the country.

The protest is expected to begin at 5: 00 p.m., in the Square of Zahir Pajazitiı, while organised by the Kolestik for Religious Thought and Action.

Through an announcement, organisers have announced that their demands remain unchanged: justice for Arlinda, institutional responsibility and security for all women in Kosovo.

On Sunday are seven days from the day Arlinda Zekaj was killed and five days since we’re on the road seeking justice for him and every woman killed. Five days that we earnestly seek security and freedom for every living woman. Our demands are clear, but the state continues to refuse to listen to us, says Kolestik’s announcement.

Organisers have warned that they will not stop protesting until the account is provided by the institutions responsible for what they describe as institutional failure in the Arlinda case.

We do not back down, and every opening day will find us in the squares in front of institutions that failed Arlinda and are continuing to fail every single inch in Kosovo, it is said at their call.

Finally, the Kolestin has called on citizens to join today’s protest, stressing that the demand for justice is not only for Arlinda but for every woman who has lost her life as a result of violence. /Telegraphy/
