Protests against the assassination of Arlinda Zekaqit have continued even today in Pristina, where citizens have gathered for the third consecutive day in the capital square, seeking justice and treatment of women’s murder as a national emergency.
In addition to the protest on the ground, citizens have gathered before the Kosovo Government object, where they have expressed dissatisfaction with institutions in the way women treat violence cases.
Protests are being organised by the Council for Religious Thought and Action, under the motto Women’s Murder to be treated as national emergency.
Through these protests, organisers and participants are seeking institutional responsibility and concrete actions to prevent cases of violence against women.
