Kosovo police have confirmed the arrest of Albert Sylajt, suspected of the serious murder of Arlinda Zekaj, which took place on 25 October in Vitomirica in Pec.
As the signal newspaper exclusively reported, Sylaj has been arrested tonight, following intensive operational and investigative commitments by the Kosovo Police.
The news of his arrest has already confirmed Kosovo Police, through an official announcement, where it becomes known that the suspect’s location and arrest was realised following actions taken by relevant police units and co-operation with citizens.
After intensive operational and investigative commitments, as well as co-operation with citizens, has been located and arrested by the suspected person, Albert Sylaj, who was on the run in connection with the serious murder case that took place on October 25, 2026, in the village of Vitomirica in Pec, says the police report.
Police have thanked citizens for the co-operation offered in localising the suspects, while has indicated that further procedure actions will be undertaken in co-ordination with competent justice organs.
