Valley Albanians expect more representation in Serbia’s Parliament

Albanians in the Presevo Valley expect their representation in Serbia’s Parliament to be empowered after unifying political subjects on a common list. Disrecognition of diplomas, lack of addresses and lack of investments are among the issues that require more institutional commitment. Sunday’s parliamentary elections are seen as opportunities to increase representation and raise voices for their problems.

Disrecognition of Kosovo diplomas, lack of addresses and lack of investments in the Presevo Valley are just some of the topics that the Presevo Valley citizens expect to become much more sensitive in Serbia’s next legislature.

This, as representation of Albanians is expected to grow after unifying the Albanian factor on a single list for parliamentary elections to be held Sunday.

What’s more important to citizens, they freeze as a matter and then, slowly, they settle. Here I had isolated recognition of the diplomas of students who have carried out schools in Kosovo, the postavation of Albanian citizens living in the Presevo Valley, or in general in Serbia, which are more political than legal, Ismail Pajaziti, citizen, reported RTK.

Albanians in the Valley expect the unification of the political spectrum to be an additional motive for Sunday to have massive exits to vote on the Albanian coalition.

We are very optimistic that with the unification of eight Albanian parties here in the Presevo Valley, this will probably produce its own fruit and have the best results and the less dignified representation in Serbia’s Parliament, stated Joy Limani, a journalist.

Civil society and citizens appreciate that it is the last moment for political subjects to join a list to deliver a message for citizens as well.

The exit is expected to be very high, but I believe that with a mobilization of the voters here and with calls making the subjects political, but also the messages coming to us from the Republic of Kosovo and Albania, however, we will succeed if not three, at least have two deputies in the future composition, which is expected to be very interesting compared to the past compositions that have been in Serbia’s Parliament, Ismaili said, a journalist.

This unification has certainly not been achieved easily, but with the intervention of the Kosovo government it has been achieved that all Albanian political parties come up with a joint list, noted Ismail Pajaziti, citizen.

In parliamentary elections in Serbia, there is expected to be a strong rivalry between Vuciqi’s student opposition list and subject. This is expected to open a new chapter on the political scene, while the result could also affect the position of Albanians in the Valley. / RTK
