Today at 2: 00 p.m., the Parliamentary Investigative Commission for acts and institutional inactions in connection with the murder of Arlinda Zekaj and the treatment of violence against children and women in the family is expected to approve his processing budget.
This meeting comes after the tragic event in Vitomirica of Peja, where Arlinda Zekij was killed just minutes after having filed her latest report of domestic violence to the Kosovo Police.
According to the prosecution, she was allegedly killed with a strong tool from her brother-in-law, Albert Sylaj, who was arrested on October 27th in Decani.
Her murder has sparked daily protests in the capital.
