Wyeer urged her to beat me, the woman confessed 20 years of violence by her ex-husband, who killed her two brothers.

A woman from Gjakova has for the first time confessed systematic violence, which she says has experienced for 28 years in marriage to her former husband, Astrit Isufi, who is currently in custody under suspicion of killing her two brothers.

In an interview with the show, she has shown that violence had begun since the start of her marriage and that, according to her, was also encouraged by her ex-husband’s family, especially by her father – in – law.

Because of her request, the show has decided not to reveal her identity and cover her face.

The woman has said the violence had become part of her everydayity and that her ex-wife’s family saw to it that she was kept secret from others.

I’ve been married for 20 years. This has lasted long because every day I’ve had violence. Her father – in – law started her first. And his father-in-law was a rebel from his husband. Familyly, they had that violence. They even liked violence to keep it more secret, not by day, she confessed.

According to her, the father-in-law urged the former husband to beat him, but in parts of the body where the marks would not appear.

When my father – in – law threw him at me and beat me, he would say: Beat the woman where she can’t see anything. On the face, no, but on the body, where there’s no signs, the woman showed.

She said that violence usually occurred when men returned from work, and her father – in – law urged sons against women.

Despite violence, she has remained in that marriage for years, saying that her five children were the main reason.

In the interview, she has shown that she had first decided to report violence to the police after about 20 years of marriage.

Her story took tragic proportions last year, when the former husband, who had been sentenced to three months in prison for his deeds against her, allegedly killed her two brothers. In this case, Astrit Isufi is currently in custody.

The woman says that even after this tragedy, her suffering has not ended. She claims she continues to face threats and pressures from family members of the former husband, who, according to her, aim at taking five children.

However, child custody is entrusted to her by the court.

In her confession, she has sought justice and protection from institutions, raising concern about how the case of violence she had reported many years earlier.
