The Wounding of Vishkull and students with serious injuries: The prosecution awaits proof from Italy, rubber bullets or other material?

Two prosecutors have launched investigations into criminal acts of duty and the chairmanship of arbitrary acts, where state police officers are suspected, following the conflict during which 28-year-old Erjon Vkulli was wounded.

Some 20 medical records of injured persons, including 28-year-olds, have been administered under the investigation.

Tomorrow, Top Channel journalist Anila Hoxha learns that the prosecution is expected to send a letter-poros to Italy to provide material that will be extracted from Erjon Viskulli’s eye as evidence, to determine whether it is a rubber bullet or other material.

For this, prosecutors have seized security cameras at the Bank of Albania, the 28-year-old medical card near Trauma Hospital, and are conducting other investigative actions based on the Police Supervisory Agency, such as managing the list with the names of FNSH officers scheduled for Saturday near the Bank building, SP headquarters and the Agriculture Ministry.

Meanwhile, two other groups of prosecutors are also investigating the excess of office by police during the several-day protests in Tirana. Twenty medical records have been seized and the regulation of how police operate in protest cases has been requested.

They are being investigated for arbitrary acts, and the wound of Ledion Balla, whose leg was broken, the beating of some protesters, and the damage of a young man who fell to the ground by a scavenging officer.

At the same time, several groups of prosecutors have represented the charge of approximately 200 detainees who have come out for security measures during two weeks of protests. They are under investigation, among other things, for attacks on institutions and damage to public property.
