14 days of protests in Albania, lower turnout, calm situation

The 14th protest in Albania has followed with fewer participants and no incidents, while protesters have moved from the Ministry of Education to the prime minister.

According to A2 report CNN, today’s rally has been calmer compared to the past few days, while the main demand of protesters remains Prime Minister Edi Rama’s resignation and holding early elections.

In contrast with other days, the professors did not march morning from Polytechnic University to prime minister, but they joined the students before the Ministry of Education.

Some of the protesters said they would continue the boycott, seeking to resolve the situation through dialogue and without escalation of tensions.
