Second day of protest against violence against women begins

Protesters have started gathering for the second consecutive day at the Zahir Pajazitı Square in Pristina, following the murder of 49-year-old Arlinda Sylaj Zekaj in Vitomirica of Pec.

As yesterday, protesters are expected to march towards the Ministry of Justice, the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, the Kosovo Judiciary Council and the Government building.

Through this protest, they are seeking institutional responsibility and the resignation of Justice Minister Donika Grovala, and Interior Minister Jedal Svecla.

The protest comes at the continuation of public reactions after the serious case in Pec, with demands for greater protection of women and responsibility from the respective institutions.

The signal where the truth speaks before the news!
