A 19-year-old with German and Kosovo citizenship has been involved in investigations into allegedly preparing a terrorist attack in Germany. In this case a 23-year-old Una has been arrested, BILD reports.
The two young men allegedly discussed carrying out an attack and securing automatic weapons during September. Special forces raided residences in Una and Hagen on October 1st, but found no weapons.
According to the report, authorities had monitored their communications, while the potential objective remains unclear.
The 23-year-old is in custody because of the risk of escape. Meanwhile, the 19-year-old Hagen has not been appointed detention, as no legal reasons for the move have been found.
Two Syrian citizens, to whom, according to the report, have also been involved in the investigation, have not been charged with lack of evidence.
