Democratic League of Kosovo MP Avdullah Hoti has reacted sharply to the government over the budget’s adoption for 2027, claiming it was approved after the October 31st legal deadline.
Hoti wrote through a post in his profile on the social Facebook network that, under the Public Finance Management Law, the budget had to be adopted within that deadline.
He has recalled that in past years, when some municipality had adopted the budget after the legal deadline, the Government had not included it in the overall budget, but its budget had to undergo separate approval procedures in Government and Assembly.
The LDK MP has described as unacceptable what he calls a violation of the law by the Vetevendosje Movement and Government.
He has also criticised the ministers, saying none of them have dared raise the issue of alleged legal offense during the government’s meeting.
With these manners, this isn’t Government and these aren’t ministers. These are a group of abusers of law and Constitution, has declared Hoti.
