Iran’s chief negotiator says Americans voted non-war

Iran’s leading negotiator in talks with the United States has declared that Americans voted against the war, following the deep defeat suffered by President Donald Trump’s Republican Party in the Muslim elections.

We support this message, wrote Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammed Bagher Ghalibach on platform X.

If the U.S. government betrays the will of its people to serve international masters and blackmailers, it will learn that our No comes with a nightmare, he has warned.

Trump agreed on Tuesday that the republican candidates’ poor results for Congress were partly linked to war and rising fuel prices. However, he insisted he did not regret the launch of a joint attack with Israel on Iran in February.

In an interview for Fox News, Trump said part of the election result was linked to Iran.

I think part of it was Iran, he said.

Furthermore, he added, people agreed with what he was doing with Iran, but perhaps they were unwilling to face the short-term consequences of rising gas prices.
