Belarus-Albania to be played without spectators in Budapest

The meeting will take place without audience presence, due to sanctions imposed by U. EFA against Belarus.

Under U Executive Committee Decision EFA, taken on March 3rd 2022 and still in force, clubs and national Belarusian teams are obliged to hold matches as hosts on neutral terrain. The ruling also envisions that these matches will be played without the presence of fans.

For this reason, even the Belarusic confronting Albania in Budapest will not be open to the public. Albanian fans will not be able to attend the match from the stadium’s steps, despite the meeting being held at an facility outside Belarus’s territory.

The Reds will shut down the U group phase EFA Nations League on this trip, at an important match for ending adventure in Group C1.
