Kane doesn’t forget Mourinho after winning the Golden Cup.

Bayern Munich’s striker delivered the speech at the London-organised ceremony, where he remembered people who helped him on his journey to football peaks.

Kane mentioned several popular names of the trainers he worked with, including Harry Redknappin, Maurizio Pochettino, Antonio Conten and Mourinho, who currently heads Real Madrid.

I want to thank some of the trainers who helped me along my journey. If I forget someone, I sincerely apologize, the captain of England said.

He stressed that each of them had an important role in its professional and personal development.

Each of you has played an important role in my development, in different stages of my life. Without you, I wouldn’t be here today, said Kane.

The English striker added that working with trainers and high – ranking people has helped him to improve constantly.

I’ve learned a lot. When you get surrounded by the best men and trainers, you become a better person and player. Thank you very much, he said.

Kane spoke with appreciation about his relationship with Mourinho during their period at Tottenham from 2019 to 2021. Under Portuguese direction, not only did the attacker continue to score goals but it also developed in terms of the creation of cases for his fellow players.

In his speech, the winner of the prestigious award also remembered the difficulties it faced before it reached world football peaks.

My journey was not easy or direct. I was not a child who immediately reached the top. I have had to go through difficult times, experiences, and borrowing, as well as struggle to reach the best level I’m showing today, Kane concluded, expressing hope that his story will serve as an inspiration to others.
