The Kosovo Assembly has approved a 62-vote review of the budget for 2026.
Of the seven proposed amendments, only two received support from MPs, while the amendments proposed by the opposition were not adopted.
During pre-election debate, Democratic League of Kosovo MP ( LDK), Avdullah Hoti, named the government’s proposal for 120m euros, for which it was established early in the year.
He has stressed that the bill has two problems, both procedurally and in context.
Meanwhile, LDK MP Hykmete Bajrami said the Finance Ministry should clarify whether the changes are intended to cover the 13th salary, which was split earlier this year.
