LDK MP Hykmete Bajrami has declared that prices in Kosovo have increased about 34 per cent from 2021 to the present.
Through a social networking post, she has said nominal budget growth and the local Bruto Product does not necessarily reflect improved citizens’ welfare.
According to Bajrami, citizens today may have more income in euros, but with them they buy less than five years ago.
It has also criticised the economic situation, claiming that some 250 thousand citizens have fled Kosovo since 2021.
The increase in figures on paper does not necessarily mean increased citizens’ welfare, Bajrami wrote.
